Civil Disputes

Civil disputes mostly involve neighbors, contractors, or companies. Any case where someone files a lawsuit against you or where you sue another person or a corporation, will usually be heard by a civil court. Civil disputes generally include property disputes, with regard to construction or neighbors, disputes in a business partnership, such as over share-holdings, fraud disputes, such as in the purchase of goods, and so on. Most civil disputes never actually go to court, as many such cases are resolved out of court, with everyone involved reaching a compromise. This is due to 'alternative dispute resolution' schemes including turning to ombudsman, arbitration or mediation. However, even these require the specialist experience of a lawyer, and that is where Legal Compare can assist you.
