Intellectual Property Infringement
Intellectual property (IP) refers to trademarks, copyrights, and designs of an industrial nature, all of which are intellectual creations. IP rights give the owner of copyright to a work, certain rights which prevent others from using that work in any manner without permission. The two categories of IP are industrial property, such as patents for inventions, and copyright, such as literary or artistic works, films, musical works, photographs and architectural designs. If someone uses the copyrighted work, it is said to be an IP infringement. If your business has suffered due to abuse of your intellectual property, by the use of your trademark or a similar mark, you can speak to a lawyer and resort to legal means to restrict the same. However, as there are many legal aspects to this, such as who registered the mark earlier, or what constitutes the owner’s intellectual property, it is best to take the advice of a solicitor who works in this area of the law, and that is where Legal Compare can assist you.Simply enter your Claim Value and Post Code below and click "Submit" to get list of Solicitors located near your location.
